MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse
our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put
them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection,
click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details
that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered
items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your

SHIPPING CHARGES
Shipping is charged to the customer at cost. The
price quoted at the time of ordering is the price you pay- no hidden
extra
DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch your order as soon as it has
been processed & payment has cleared. You will normally receive
your order within 24-48 hrs (If order received by 3pm on day of
placing order) . International orders (EIRE) are generally received
in under 7 working days.
If an Item is out of stock, you will be contacted
& advised on an expected delivery date.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you
and find out when the product is required by. Usually, we can fulfill
most orders within 24-48 hrs, but from time to time a product may
be out of stock and placed on backorder. You will always be contacted
with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
VAT
For orders made from the UK or the European Union,
17.5% VAT is included in the price displayed.

SECURITY
Denney Diving has implemented generally accepted
standards of technology security in order to protect information
from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration
or deletion. We use secure 128 bit encryption for card transactions
and security firewall precautions on our system. Only authorized
Denney Diving personnel have access to your personal information
and certain databases containing non-personal information, and these
employees have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.
When you type your credit card number into the
'card payment' screen, our Web site transfers into secure mode.
This means that your browser encodes what you type, and our server
decodes it. This ensures that anyone 'listening' can make no sense
or use of the number. This system, the SSL 'Secure Socket Layer'
works - just about every trading Web site uses it, and you can tell
you are in secure mode when a padlock icon appears on the taskbar
at the bottom of the screen.
If you are a UK resident using a UK-issued card
for a transaction over £100, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit
Act 1974 protects you. This law says that if a trader defrauds you,
the credit card company is equally as liable for the debt, which
basically means that they will refund you if an unauthorized charge
is made to your card or account. In practice, the credit card companies
refund you; charge back us (they have direct debit authority and
capability from our bank account) and then leave it up to us to
sort it out with you the customer. In practice, it is impossible
to be cheated if you use a credit card over £100.
We have been processing credit card numbers over
the telephone, internet and via our shop PDQ machine for a number
of years. We have security systems in place to stop your card numbers
being viewed by unauthorized persons, but even in the unlikely event
of this happening you would still be protected under Section 75
of the Consumer Credit Act 1974

COMPLAINTS
Complaints will be handled in the same way as other
comments or enquiries. They will be forwarded to the member of staff
who deals with complaints for response. We endeavor to respond to
all complaints within 5 working days.

PRIVACY POLICY
Denney Diving take your privacy seriously, and
during the course of processing your order, we gather information
about where you live, your telephone number (s), your credit card
information, and the products you buy from us. All this information
is kept strictly confidential and is for our use only when processing
your order.
Most people are concerned about their address being
forwarded to mailing lists etc- At Denney Diving your information
is always kept confidential between you and us, and the only instance
that information needs providing is for the purpose of Guarantee
/ Warranty, which is required for certain products (such as regulators)
to register your details / diving qualification with the manufacturer
before use. We would not however give diving equipment manufacturers
a list of all the people who had bought diving equipment from us.
We might send a special offer e-mail from time
to time to our customers, however this is not a regular occurrence,
and customers wishing not to receive special offer emails can simply

When working with third parties or product manufacturers,
we will not perform mailings for them. We do not give out private
individuals telephone numbers under any circumstances. You can safely
quote your telephone number (including ex-directory numbers) to
our sales staff when buying with us - knowing it will never be passed
on to third parties- the only ones who have access to your number
is our Staff, which will only use numbers to contact you regarding
your orders with us.
Denney Diving does provide statistics to any other
parties about our online trading activity.

with the Data Protection Act 1998'
The Data Protection Act requires certain security
procedures, and at Denney Diving we will always implement these
using security measures & confidentiality.
Names and addresses are very valuable, and we protect
them carefully from hackers and competitors. If you even wish to
access what information we hold about you, we may ask you for proof
of identity or a question regarding your order or details.

RETURNS POLICY
FAULTY PRODUCTS
Denney Diving is committed to providing the highest
quality products and service. However, on rare occasions products
may be found to be faulty or defective. If any product is found
to be faulty or have defects upon delivery, You will be entitled
to a free of charge replacement or full refund (including postage
fees incurred) within 30 days of receiving product. If a product
is returned to us, and following the testing process, the product
is found to be in good working order without defect or fault, we
will return the product to you. All returns must first be authorized
by either telephone or e-mail, after which you will be given a returns
number which must be quoted with all returned goods. Any goods returned
for either exchange or refund can only be dealt with after a authorization
number has been issued.
RETURNING UNSUITABLE OR INCORRECTLY
SIZED GOODS
If a product you purchase from us turns out to
be unsuitable or the incorrect size for you, we will provide a free
of charge replacement or full refund, provided they are returned
in a new & unused resalable condition within 7 working days
of the date of receiving your order. When returning goods to us,
the customer will incur any postage fees. If we arrange to collect
the goods for you, the cost of our postage to do so will be deducted
from the refund. Please note that we do not refund postage for unsuitable
or incorrectly sized goods.
CANCELLATION PERIOD
You may cancel your order within 7 working days
to receive a full refund. To cancel all, or part of your order,
You must first contact us by either telephone or e-mail, after which
you will be given a returns number which must be quoted with all
returned goods. A full refund will be provided within 7 working
days of cancellation.
When returning goods to us, the customer will incur
any postage fees. If we arrange to collect the goods for you, the
cost of our postage to do so will be deducted from the refund.
